Credits to Ms. Sarre for giving me the information needed.
What is Dramafest?
Dramafestis an annual drama festival where schools from all over Durham come together, bringing their own plays, to perform. After all plays have been performed, students meet to celebrate and host an awards ceremony. After dramafest is over, one or two plays are picked to move onto the regional festival, which is an amazing opportunity for those involved.
Our school’s art department has been hosting this event for the last three years, and we have seen unbelievable talent from every school that has come. In previous years, J. Clarke has put on plays such as The Stuff Dreams are Made Of and The Princess Prison Problem, both wielding success.
Which schools are coming to this year’s Dramafest?

What else do I need to know about Dramafest? What show is JCR putting on?
This year, the Dramafest runs four nights from February 18th to the 20th. During these dates, doors will open at 6:00, and the show starts at 6:30. Both students and parents can attend, with tickets costing $5 for students, and $10 for adults. If you would like to see JCR’s play but cannot come on Thursday, then come to the Family and Friends Performance on Wednesday, Februrary 25th. On this day, the doors will open at 7:30PM.
For dramafest, JCR is putting on a horror play called We. Created in collaboration by the Richardson drama ensemble, We is a play about their love and fear of theatre darkness. (Ms. Sarre).
The dramafest will be incredible. We can’t wait to see you all there!
