Exciting New Yearbook Opportunity

Share your story. Share your pictures.

The yearbook is used to summarize the events that take place throughout an entire school year. Many may say that it is a perfect way to represent the culture and lifestyle of the school it is made for. Unfortunately, some students occasionally feel as though they and their friends are not featured enough or at all within the book. This year, our school’s yearbook class has teamed up with the company Herff Jones to provide all students with an equal opportunity to be represented in the 2015-2016 edition of Richardson’s yearbook. All you have to do is submit your picture(s) with a short description of what is happening within the photo to Herff Jones with the school code: jclarkerichardson. There are two different ways to send in your pictures: either go to www.hjeshare.com and enter the school code previously stated and open your file(s), or download the free HJ eSHARE app on your Android or iPhone. “We would like to highly encourage students to submit their photos through the Herff Jones app so that they may have a say as to what goes into the yearbook this year. We are very excited to have this opportunity and look forward to seeing your submissions!” says Ms. Szeto, who has been teaching the yearbook class for many years.

Submitting your photos through Herff Jones enables you to take charge of how you want your yearbook to be. This is especially important for students in Grade 12 to utilise so that they can be represented within their final high school yearbook. Neraja Thillairajah says, “It’s an easy and efficient way to have a say as to what goes into the yearbook. As a grade 12 student I want to make sure that I am in it as much as possible because it’s going to be the last high school yearbook I ever buy!” Make sure to download the app or head on over to the website as soon as possible to submit your pictures, and keep an eye out for posters about yearbook sales coming soon!
