On Thursday October 15, 2015, J Clarke Richardson Collegiate held its annual University Fair for students to explore various universities and programs. Approximately twenty universities from across the province came to J Clarke Richardson Collegiate. Each university has different features it offers that are appealing to future students such as the university campus environment, scholarships, co-op and internship and the reputation of the university. If students still have difficulty choosing a university, they should check out the preview dates and tour dates on each university’s website. It gives students and parents the opportunity to see the campus and talk to representatives about the university.
At the University Fair assembly, important upcoming dates were revealed on a handout to remind seniors of the important deadlines that are upcoming for the application process. The next events are:

To have the universities actually come to our school was a great resource. It greatly helped with sorting out post-secondary plans for future graduates and hopefully everyone is closer to an idea of what they want to do and where they want to go to pursue it.
