Kamila Bibi is a grade 10 student and an amazing athlete, being part of many sports teams for J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate. She is part of both the badminton and volleyball team and is a great role model for those hoping to also get into sports. Kamila shows great dedication and love for the things she does and is a great inspiration.
How did you become interested in sports?
I became interested in sports during my grade 4 year as that was when I had first learned about sports. I joined my first sports team then and liked how I was able to meet many different people and get to play with and against people.
Will you pursue your clubs and teams after high school?
Yes, I will pursue my clubs and teams after high school as I will continue to play sports at college.
Who are some of your role models?
I don’t have any role models, I just play because I love sports and don’t really look up to be like someone
What inspires of motivates you?
What inspires and motivates me are my siblings and family as they help me through everything and get me to do the best I can. My parents inspire me as they are hard working and I want to work hard as well.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I see myself in a college, pursuing my dreams and continuing to play sports all throughout college.
If you were on a desert island, what object would you take with you?
If I was on a deserted island, the object I would take with me would be a ball or something I can entertain myself with, as it will get boring.
If you were on a desert island, what music album would you want?
If I were on a deserted island, I would take any type of musical album. I don not have a specific one.
What is your favorite sport?
I do not have a favorite sport but the sports I love the most are basketball, volleyball, and badminton.
Are there any other sports you would like to try?
No there aren’t any other sports I would like to try, as I have already played most of them.
What one sport would you want to be very good at? And why?
One sport I would really want to be good at is volleyball because that is the sport I believe I am best at and that is the sport I want to play my whole life.
