Thoughts on Upcoming Marvel Projects

Marvel has a lot of exciting projects coming out, so why not share my thoughts on some of them even though nobody asked?

Moon Knight: I have high hopes for this series, and I think it has the potential to top WandaVision, the best Marvel series as of now (you can fight me on that). The concept of not knowing you’re in a dream 24/7 is brilliant and sounds incredibly intriguing. Not to mention the trippy visuals and darker tones featured in this series is most likely going to make it different from the Marvel norm, and I’m here for it.

Multiverse of Madness: The effects, tone, and visuals that the trailer set up have me hyped! Not to mention Wanda’s finally back!

I’m 98% sure that the post credit scene of this movie will be the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer or have something to do with Loki.

Ms. Marvel: On one hand I love the comic book and neon aesthetic that the show seems to be going for, and I’m excited to see a Pakistani superhero in the MCU. On the other hand, I don’t know if I can trust someone who looks up to Captain Marvel…

Thor: Love and Thunder: Considering this is supposedly coming out in July it’s astounding we know next to nothing about the plot details due to a lack of a trailer (we don’t even have an official poster). Loki is most likely not making an appearance in this movie, which is a bummer since my favorite thing about the Thor movies is the relationship between Thor and Loki. However, Taika Watiti’s direction is probably more than enough of a redeeming factor… Probably.

The guardians also being a likely addition to this movie is also going to make this movie even more chaotic.

She Hulk: I’ve never been a huge fan of the Hulk but the CGI that was shown during last year’s Disney Plus Day was uhhhhhhhhhhhh

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: There have been rumors that Shurri will become the next Black Panther, and while I’m curious to see if this will end up being true or not, the circumstances of her new role in the MCU are tragic. Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: The title’s stupid but I’m excited to see just how an Ant Man movie is going to tackle the Multiverse??? The Antman movies are quite fun to watch, and are severely underrated, so I’m looking forward to this.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3: The Guardians of the Galaxy Movies are probably my favourite movies in the MCU. The unique rainbow aesthetic accompanied by catchy 70s songs and an impeccable sense of humour make these movies unlike anything else in the MCU. While I am excited to be treated to more rainbows, I’m not too thrilled about Peter and Gamora’s relationship resetting, as two movies worth of character development from them might be shoved into this one movie.

Captain America Four: I’m not too excited about this because The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was a meh watch for me, and Sarah Carter (or whatever her name is [I can’t be bothered to search it up]), seems like a very boring villain.

Spiderman Four: It seems too soon to be discussing this movie considering that No Way Home was only released a few months ago, but I’m very excited to see how they handle Peter’s new life and the symbiote. Although it’s probably going to be an unusual Spiderman movie without Ned. Mj, May, or Happy.

House of Harkness: Totally Unnecessary. Will watch it.
